Mickey Rooney Abused By Stepson

Ugh! This is awful.
Oscar nominated actor Mickey Rooney has been granted a restraining order by a Los Angeles judge against his stepson Chris Aber who has been accused of withholding food and medicine from the 90-year-old, as well as meddling in his personal finances.
The court filing states “Mickey is effectively a prisoner in his own home” and continues:

“Chris is verbally abusive toward Mickey. He yells and screams at Mickey. He threatens, intimidates, bullies, and harasses Mickey.”

That’s terrible! It’s such a shame to hear about a family member taking advantage of another like this.
The order requires Aber to stay 100 yards away from Rooney and his home and to refrain from contacting the actor until a hearing on Feb. 24, when the restraining order may be extended.
The iconic actor, whose Hollywood career spans eight decades, wrote in a statement:

“All I want to do is live a peaceful life, to regain my life and be happy. I pray to God each day to protect us, help us endure, and guide those other senior citizens who are also suffering.”

We hope you do continue to live a happy life, Mr. Rooney. You deserve it!
Hopefully his scumbag stepson will be removed his life after this ordeal.
