Kobe Bryant has taken some steps to remedy his homophobic outburst at the Lakers game a couple nights ago (although still no apology), AND he’s being fined $100,000 by the league.
Said Kobe:
“It’s our responsibility to turn it into a positive and raise as much awareness as we can to say that it is not okay to…insult and disrespect.”
The one problem with all of this is that he’s APPEALING the fine.
Apparently, the appeal is just standard “protocol,” but we’re still annoyed by it.
Just pay it and show that you are sorry for what you did, Kobe!
