KFC Thailand Apologizes For Insensitive Tsunami Ad

KFC Thailand
As they should!
It should have never happened in the first place, though!
KFC Thailand has had to do some damage control and apologize for posting a Facebook message that urged people to hurry up and order a bucket of chicken… during Wednesday’s tsunami scare!
So basically as people were being told to evacuate from beaches, the company went ahead and said this:

“Let’s hurry home and follow the earthquake news. And don’t forget to order your favorite KFC menu.”

That’s extremely insensitive! Whoever thought that was a good idea — and then the person who gave permission to post it — should be fired. That’s a no-brainer.
More than 8,000 people in Thailand died in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami (230,000 in Indonesia), so you can see why people are so upset!
