Ken Baumann, an actor on ABC’s The Secret Life of the American Teenager, is currently fighting Chron’s disease.
Chron’s causes inflammation all throughout the digestive tract.
Ken said:
“It├óΓé¼Γäós basically when your digestive system eats itself.”
It causes pain and diarrhea and can actually lead to pretty serious complications.
He even had to have surgery at one point and lost 22 pounds.
“If you have a sense of humor, even when you├óΓé¼Γäóre in pain, it helps. When I did my first fart after surgery it was like hearing Beethoven├óΓé¼Γäós Ninth.”
Chron’s has no cure so it’s a good thing he has that sense of humor to keep him going.
He says his Chron’s is currently under control.
