Robin Roberts was diagnosed with MDS, a bone marrow disease, and, as we previously mentioned, she is getting a bone marrow transplant.
She’s been so upbeat about everything, it must’ve all finally gotten to her because she left Good Morning America in the middle of the show!
It was 8:08 a.m. EDT when she said:
“Well, a full disclosure here, I├óΓé¼Γäóm not feeling too well. In fact, I├óΓé¼Γäóm going to leave, and let you all do the rest of the program on your own. I├óΓé¼Γäóm going to take a little time off, just to get some vacay. I├óΓé¼Γäóll see you in a couple of weeks.”
We’re glad she listened to her body and didn’t just force herself to stay on the air.
It’s more important that she gets healthy.
