The Shawn Carter Foundation is one lucky foundation, because proceeds from auctioning off ten limited-edition Carter 4 Nets jerseys, autographed by Jay-Z, will be going straight to them!
The auctions will be up and running as of today, and will be lasting for two weeks and ending on Halloween. This is all happening right after Jay-Z unveiled the new Nets jerseys during one of his 8 sold out shows at their new Barclays Center!
The jersey was designed by adidas, and features ‘Brooklyn’ across the front.
The mission through the Shawn Carter Foundation is to help individuals facing socio-economic hardships further their education at institutions of higher learning. Since 2003, the Foundation has distributed more than $1.4M in scholarship awards!
