This sounds like the tagline for a movie: Former NFL star Bob Whitfield only has 21 days to find $75,000, or the law will get him.
Too bad it’s real life for Bob, as he has to give that sum to his ex-wife, Real Houswives star Sheree Whitfield, for overdue child support. Bob admitted he didn’t make, like, 38 monthly payments of $2,142.
His reason?
He said he didn’t have the money.
That must not be the case though, as his obligation was not lowered and was denied by the court — and the deal that was struck was only a few thousand less than what he officially owed. He has to pay up by Nov. 11.
He also agreed to pay $1,000 per month for the next 12 months, before it all goes back to the original $2,142 amount.
Just be a good dad and pay!
