Buffalo Caught Swimming In Neighbor's Pool

Imagine the shock of finding a buffalo inside your swimming pool!
That’s what happened to a White County, Georgia resident after finding out a neighbor’s pet buffalo had made its way into his dirty pool for a dip.
Who even keeps a buffalo as a pet? Well one neighbor did, in fact, they had three pet buffalos, all of which escaped.
But there’s a sad twist to this story.
While the two other buffalo were captured, the owners decided to put down the one which got into the pool. Apparently, this wasn’t the first time they’ve escaped.
But so sad!
Why put down the buffalo instead of just securing its living area outside so it didn’t continue to escape?
