6 Orphaned Gorilla Baby Are Looking For A Home

Anyone want a gorilla?

Two African governments are working together to try to find homes for 6 orphaned baby gorillas. The baby gorillas had been stolen by poachers.

The Mountain Gorillas are between the ages of 5 and 8. They were smuggled out of the Democratic Republic of Congo into Rwanda. Authorities believe they were going to be sold by unknown buyers. They also believe the gorillas’ parents were killed.

The gorillas were rescued by Rwandan authorities, treated by doctors and then flown to a new gorilla rescue center where they will be introduced to other rescued gorillas.

Eventually they will be released back into the wild.
