To bring light to the issue of overpopulated shelters and promote dog adoption the Mayor’s Alliance for NYC’s Animals and Petfinder.com will be hosting the Pup Crawl.
Almost 500 dogs will cross the Brooklyn Bridge after dark, using illuminated leashes to light the way.
From chihuahuas to great danes, doggies of all sorts will walk for the cause of rescue dogs.
There have been several of these events across the country on bridges in Arizona, California and Pennsylvania.
The event is tomorrow, the 22nd on the Brooklyn Bridge, just after sunset.
