Elizabeth Taylor had a 55.95-carat pearl, that recently sold for a record $11.8 million dollars!!
What’s amazing is that, even though it’s huge and insanely valuable, someone still bought it after it had been eaten by Taylor’s dog!
A source close to Taylor said:
“Twenty minutes after she put it on, she lost it.”
She went to go try on the pearl and ran back into the room screaming:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóve lost the pearl!”
They immediately began searching the room.
“The room had pink shag carpeting, and I was crawling past a settee when I saw one of [Taylor├óΓé¼Γäós] two Lhasa apsos, and I heard the crunch. I said, ├óΓé¼╦£Liz, I know where the pearl is.├óΓé¼Γäó”
Taylor immediately ran to her dog to retrieve the pearl.
“She got the dog to spit it out. I was afraid it cracked because pearls do.”
The pearl only suffered a few minor scratches.
So now some lucky anonymous bidder has themselves a new, million dollar, giant pearl… with a few dog tooth scratches on it.
