Baby Lovebirds Born On Valentines Day!

At the UK’s Drusillas Park, four baby black-cheeked Lovebirds hatched├óΓé¼┬ª on Valentine’s Day!!
They are called love birds because when they mate, they mate for life and they’re always preening each other’s feathers.
Zoo keepers had students help to create boxes for the birds to nest in and they were happy to check the boxes one day and see baby birds inside!
A zoo keeper said:

“We routinely check the nest boxes every Monday and were over the moon to see the chicks within. All of the babies are doing well and we hope they will be the first of many.
It├óΓé¼Γäós a real feather in our cap to have bred these beautiful and rare birds, and to receive our special delivery for Valentine├óΓé¼Γäós Day seems a very fitting tribute to lovebirds everywhere.”

The birds are native to Zambia and they are the most endangered parrot in Africa so it’s great that these love birds├óΓé¼┬ª made love.
LOLz!
Hooray for baby lovebirds!
Look at those cute rainbow colors they have before they get their feathers!
