Way to go, SeaWorld!
A four DAY old crane chick was rescued by SeaWorld Orlando and after careful examination, it was deemed that the chick wasn’t ready for the wild.
The sandhill crane chick is currently learning from an adult rescue about the necessary behaviors to survive in the wild.
Once the chick has fledged or gained the feathers to fly, both the chick and adult will be released.
