He should have been sentenced for more!!
A 19-year-old Tennessee man was sentenced to 27 years in prison for killing his infant because he “allegedly” bothered him while he was playing a video game.
Andrew Keith Johnston pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the death of his 1-month-old son William.
In a written statement he gave the District Attorney, Johnston said he became irritated when the baby would not stop crying in his bassinet, interfering with his video game session.
The prosecutor says that Johnston admitted he squeezed the boy hard and shook him.
The child suffered a brain hemorrhage and died of his injuries at a hospital a week later. The autopsy report stated that he died of “non-accidental trauma.”
That’s terrible!! And so unbelievably sad.
