Teens Admit To Drunk Driving On New Year's Eve

One out of every ten teens admit to driving drunk on New Year’s Eve. It is the worst drunk driving holiday of the year.
That’s a serious red flag for our young drivers out there.
Liberty Mutual surveyed 2,300 11th and 12th graders and found out that 94 percent of them would stop driving under the influence of alcohol or marijuana if a passenger asked them.
But, only 87 percent would ask a friend not to drive drunk while only 72% would ask a “high” friend.
The moral of the story? Kids need to talked with to cut down on drunk driving.
The survey found that parents who lay down the law have a higher effect on teen drivers.
Liberty and S.A.D.D. agree that parents need to tell their children the dangers of drunk drivers. With conversation, teen accidents can be cut down.
