This is taking things way too far!
A six-year-old kindergarten student in Milledgeville, Georgia was PLACED IN HANDCUFFS after she threw a tantrum in her classroom at Creekside Elementary School.
In a police report, it was written that Salecia Johnson was charged with simple assault and damage to property as she was seen tearing items off the walls and throwing furniture.
The Chief of Police explained why he put the young girl in cuffs:
“Our policy states that any detainee transported to our station in a patrol vehicle is to be handcuffed in the back. There is no age discrimination on that rule.”
She has since suspended and cannot return to school until August.
Her mother Constance Ruff explained why she threw the tantrum:
“She has mood swings some days – all of us have mood swings some days. I guess that was just one of her bad days.”
LOL, oh boy…
We’re not sure if ARRESTING her really teaches her anything, except for scarring her for life.
The girl needs discipline, but not to that extreme!!
