Anxious Moms Have Longer Labors

Anxious Moms Have Longer Labors

Longer Labor Times
Most pregnant women are nervous about being parents. But it turns out fear of the event itself may actually cause problems during delivery!
A new study found that women who are scared of childbirth are in labor an average of 90 minutes longer than women who aren’t!
The Akershus University Hospital researchers also found that frightened women were 60% more likely to need an emergency Caesarean!
We can’t believe there are pregnant women who aren’t scared of childbirth after this study!
Just remember- we have nothing to fear but fear itself. And longer labor times.
