Milla Jovovich learned how to be a parent from one tough mother!
The model/actress/singer had a bit of a wild streak, but she says her mom had a secret weapon to keep her in line. She says:
├óΓé¼┼ôI would always hear her whispering in my ear, ├óΓé¼╦£I├óΓé¼Γäóll kill myself if anything happens to you! So, I kind of knew when to say no; when not to continue the party, because I whole-heartedly believed that if anything had happened to me my mom would have killed herself.”
Eesh! So Milla was a good girl even during all those teen modeling years? Not quite. She says:
“I still put her through hell. She didn├óΓé¼Γäót know that in my head I knew when to stop. I tell her, ├óΓé¼╦£My God, it could have been so much worse!├óΓé¼Γäó├óΓé¼┬¥
So how did her own childhood influence Milla’s views on parenthood? Does she fret over Ever like her mom did over her? She says:
“I definitely want to keep [Ever] as dependent as any young girl her age—which is relative, but I have a picture in my head of what that should be.”
It’s nice that Milla can trust her daughter to behave. Of course, it doesn’t hurt that she can always show Ever video of her face-kicking vampires and zombies!
We know that would keep us in line!
