Helen Hunt Took Years Off To Be With Daughter

Helen Hunt is getting rave reviews for her work in The Sessions, leading many film buffs to wonder where she’s been all these years!
Well, it turns out the What Women Want star wanted to take some time off to spend with her young daughter.
Makena is eight now and certainly doesn’t need round-the-clock care, but Helen says her daughter never really needed as much attention as she got. She says:

“It’s not because she needs me. Selfishly, it’s for me. It’s like an intravenous vitamin drip to be at home with her.”

A vitamin drip? Wow, that sounds like one wholesome daughter she’s raising!
