Honey Boo Boo Moves To Europe!

Here Comes Honey Boo Boo is a bona fide worldwide success!
One might think that other countries wouldn’t understand or take a liking to a reality show about American rednecks, but as it turns out, they love it!
In Eastern Europe, it’s a huge hit! Discovery exec Luis Silberwasser says:

“In Poland, where it just started airing, it├óΓé¼Γäós already No. 3 in terms of viewers.”

And Honey Boo Boo isn’t stopping with invading Poland! She’s taking the entire world by storm!
The show is about to begin airing in Latin America, Italy, The Netherlands, and Australia!
So what explains the success of this specific small-town family in the rest of the world? Luis says:

“People in other countries, say, ├óΓé¼╦£Well, that├óΓé¼Γäós interesting. That doesn├óΓé¼Γäót happen here, but it happens there,├óΓé¼Γäó and they like to watch…
People like the characters for who they are. It├óΓé¼Γäós an interesting view, from an international perspective.”

Producers are struggling to figure out how to translate catch-phrases like “Redneckognize” and “A dollar makes me holler”, but honestly?
They don’t make that much sense in English, and we still love them! LOLz!
