Even though Iron Man 3 premieres TONIGHT in the United States, it has already garnered $300 million in international box office sales in a little less than a week, shattering previous records.
The Marvel flick has now surpassed the first Iron Man film ($267 million), Thor ($268 million), and Captain America: The First Avenger ($192 million) in first week international sales, and its only rival is Iron Man 2 ($311.5 million)…
However the franchise’s third installment is expected to beat those numbers by the end of the day.
Oh man, it’s going to be a Tony Stark style party at the movie theaters tonight at midnight if the buzz in anything to go by!
