We were JUST hearing reports that Jason Collins had contacted THREE different publishing houses to see if he could write a memoir for them, but now it’s looking like the openly gay NBA player is denying the whole thing!
His denial is a little more plausible than usual, because the sources talking about his inquiries all remained anonymous. Who’s to say that he even requested at all??
Here’s what he tweeted:
Contrary to Sportscenter reports, I have no current plans to write any books. Sorry to disappoint my literary loving fans. #GoingToTheGym

Though, maybe he means “no current plans” because nobody has given him a response yet! LOLz!
Who knows! What we do know is that a memoir from him should probably come at the end of his career — not right now! He’s only just begun!
