Her dad would be so proud of her!
We were so worried that Demi Lovato was going to bottle up her emotions after the loss of her father Patrick Lovato.
Instead she proved her maturity mettle, and is now grieving by cherishing the memory of her father – a far healthier way to deal with death in our opinion!
The X Factor star posted such a sweet picture of herself with her father when she was just a little kid!

Demi also gave many thanks to her supportive friends, family and fans who have supported her through this tremendously sad time in her life.

It’s never easy to lose a loved one, but losing a parent is one of the most difficult aspects of life.
The fact that Demi is quite young makes her tale even more heartbreaking!
But from the way we’ve seen Demi handle herself since tragedy struck her life – we know this young lady is someone who is truly special.
Even though their relationship wasn’t ideal, Demi was raised by her father, and in that respect – he did a beautiful job!
