Normally, couples tend to walk the red carpet together to show their support, but John Mayer was nowhere to be seen on Sunday at the Smurfs 2 premiere in El Lay.
But that was because Katy Perry had someone better to bring: HER GRANDMA!
That must be why she was dressed maturely. Ha!
92-year-old Ann Hudson was there in a bedazzled shirt that read “I’ve Got The Hots For Papa Smurf.” LOLz!!!
And she even had a matching jeweled cane!
This sassy senior is just as adorbises as her granddaughter.
In fact, can we request that she come to all red carpet events?!
