Justin Bieber makes the headlines A LOT for both good and bad reasons, but his mom is tired of the bad press.

Patty Mallette recently talked to Mario Lopez on Extra! about the close relationship she has with her son and what she thinks of his friends.

Really though, she seems like such a sweet pea, and we’re glad that Patty is close with the Biebs, because he needs those kinds of relationships in his life.
