Simon Cowell can’t wait for someone to call him their babydaddy!
Although we reported earlier that Simon had gone to the One Direction‘s London premiere of This is Us today sans Lauren Silverman, the lady who will share his future kid’s genetic makeup, it looks like they’re still on good terms!
In an interview at the premiere, Simon admitted to looking forward to being a father. Do our ears deceive us? Silent Simon speaks! Here’s what he had to say about his spawn:
“[T]hings are changing in my life right now, for the better…I’m proud to be a dad.”
He later said that although he had never thought of fathering a child before, he now feels “good about it.”
We’re feeling good about it too! After hearing that Lauren and her ex-to-be Andrew Silverman reportedly divorced amicably, maybe her and Simon can give a relationship an honest try-mester.
He even called Lauren “a very special girl.” Aw, we bet he can’t wait to have another special girl or boy in his life soon enough!
