Becoming a parent can be one of the greatest joys someone will ever experience! But for some people, those emotions don’t exactly click right away!
Just ask Michael Bublè!
The canadian crooner recently added fatherhood to his repertoire after his wifey Luisana Lopilato gave birth to their adorable baby boy Noah!
Michael has opened up about the experience recently, and he says the shock of becoming a daddy didn’t immediately hit him:
“I didn├óΓé¼Γäót have that overwhelming feeling of love. I├óΓé¼Γäóm being honest with you. I├óΓé¼Γäód heard all of these stories about how this moment was life-changing, but it wasn├óΓé¼Γäót like that for me. I was nervous for my wife, and I was happy that he was healthy ├óΓé¼┬ª but, that day, it was like meeting a stranger.”
Michael goes on to say that the very next night, he had his Aha! moment and the rest is history!
The proud pops claims that he is now a black-belt at changing poopy diapers and that he is a master at the art of the swaddle, and when it comes to calming Noah down, he has a secret weapon: His voice!
He says:
“I sing to him all day and all night. When he├óΓé¼Γäós crying with somebody else and I hold him and I sing to him, he just stops. It├óΓé¼Γäós really cool. The songs I├óΓé¼Γäóm singing are not my hits ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ that├óΓé¼Γäós for sure. My number one go-to right now is Down by the Bay.”
What a lucky baby!
We wish we’d get our very own Michael Bubl├â┬¿ concert every time we started crying!!
We’re so glad to hear the happy family is doing well, and even though it’s only been a few weeks, it sounds like the singer has this whole parenting thing on lockdown!
