Like mother, like daughter?
Apparently not so much!
Katie Holmes recently went on record to give one of her brilliant motherly insights about her daughter Suri Cruise!
The Dawson’s Creek star reflected on her tomboyish childhood, and has come to the conclusion that her younger self and Suri were nothing alike!
Here’s what she said:
“My daughter Suri is much more girlie than I was as a child. I was a tomboy. I rode my bike everywhere and played basketball. There’s a reason I’ve always been seen as the girl next door – the ‘natural’ look on Dawson’s Creek was me off-screen too. I went to an all-girls high school and we never wore make-up – it was all about getting good grades.”
Obviously Suri is her daughter, and Katie’s shown nothing but love for her precious girl!
But a part of us wonders if Katie secretly wishes Suri was more like her as a kid!
We’d assume that is not the case since, if anything, Katie indulges her little girl more than most parents!
On second thought we’re pretty sure that Suri can do NO wrong in her mama’s eyes!!!
Definitely interesting though!!!
