Rebel Wilson Has Diet Companies Fighting Over The Chance To Pay Her For Weight Loss

We LOVE Rebel Wilson, and we love her for her sense of humor! While some of her jokes might be tied to her weight, we’d say that her wit isn’t necessarily tied to her size — so if she wanted to shed some of it, we’d probably love her just the same!

That decision, though, has to come from a place of personal will, though! We don’t want to see her lost a lot of weight, really fast, just to put it back on later. It has to be one of the biggest decisions of her life!

And that’s why, while it sounds amazing, we’re worried! Sure, you get the professional help AND the pay, we just hope the opportunity is coming at a time where she’s READY for it, ready for the life-long change that has to come with it!

Reportedly both Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig would like for her to sign up, but apparently Rebel wants the big bucks (and we don’t blame her):

├óΓé¼┼ôRebel is asking for a fortune, but still looking at all the offers and is not ready to rule it out yet.”

Apparently she├óΓé¼Γäós not going to sign any deals just to be thin for her job, but that it’s purely for money!

The source continued:

“Rebel would be doing this strictly for the money. She’s built a comic persona out of being heavy and nobody in her world or at ABC is pressuring her to lose weight. It would only be for the cash and the exposure.”

See, while some people think her comic persona is irreversibly tied to being heavy, we don’t see it that way — we see it as her wit and humor working with a whole lot of things, including her present weight!

Though, all of this isn’t exactly new for her! In 2012, she was the spokesperson for Jenny Craig Australia, and tried to lose 55 pounds. The campaign ended in February, after she lost more than 30 pounds (and relocated to LA)! Which is awesome!

Like we said though, for her own long-term health, we want her to be in a place where she can maintain whatever she loses for the rest of her life! We’d hate to see her earn all of that money, and then lose the health side of it anyway!

Either way, we LOVE HER!!
