This is EXCELLENT news!!
Lindsey Vonn‘s status for the 2014 Sochi Olympics was put into question recently after she injured her knee and tore her ACL during a training run, but it sounds like she’s making some huge progress in her recovery!
In fact, the U.S. Ski Team just revealed that she has been medically cleared to hit the slopes and get back to some downhill training as early as today!!
Of course, this doesn’t exactly guarantee that she’ll be defending her gold medal in the winter olympics. However, sources are saying there’s a chance that she might be able to compete in the World Cup races in Louise, Alberta this weekend, depending on how she feels!
That’s DEFINITELY a good sign!
If she’s able to return to competitive racing in just a couple of days, there’s probably a good chance that she’ll be ready for the olympics in February!
We’re keeping our fingers crossed, Lindsey!
