These Pigs Glow In The Dark To Save Our Lives!

Plus, they look pretty badass… in the most ADORABLE WAY POSSIBLE!
Ten glow-in-the-dark piglets have been born this year in China, and it wasn’t by accident — they are the result of an experiment at the South China Agriculture University! They’ve been tweaked by injecting a fluorescent protein from jellyfish DNA into the pig embryos.
Sounds… fun?
The good news is that the animals were NOT hurt by the process and besides the glowin’ they’re normal-ass pigs!
So what’s the benefits of this?? To show that foreign genetic material can be incorporated from one animal to an entirely different animal! This means CHEAPER DRUGS FOR HUMANS!
Plus it’s just cool! Ha!
