Gabrielle Union must’ve known about Dwyane Wade‘s new baby for a long time before it was born, because it seems like she’s had all the time in the world to deal with the shock of it and to move on…
How do we know?? Well, she is still TOTALLY focused on that engagement!
She was ALL smiles during an interview on Live With Kelly And Michael, and, even though she didn’t talk about the baby, she did talk about how Dwyane proposed to her during the holidays!
Heres a hint: his sons Zaire, 11, and Zion, 6, were totes involved!
AWWWW!
Gabrielle explained it like this:
“I was completely surprised. Him and the boys planned it completely, as a family. We were just gonna spend the day together, having a little quality time, went to brunch, I’m clueless.”
After brunch they went home, and the boys said they wanted to make a presentation, which wasn’t out of the norm. She continued:
“They like to do skits and songs and stuff, so we turn around, and they’re like, ‘Okay, we’re ready!’ and I turn back around and all the boys were holding up signs that said, ‘Will you marry us?'”
AND SHE DIDN’T THINK IT WAS REAL! Not at first, anyway!
She finished:
“The thing is, they ask me all the time, so I’m thinking, ‘well this is embarrassing, now they’ve made signs.’ I turn to D like, ‘ugh, they just made some signs,’ and he’s down on one knee — and he’s like, ‘Will you marry us?’ And I was like, ‘Oh, you’re serious!'”
