It’s like the OJ trial all over again!
The Oscar Pistorious trial over the killing of Reeva Steenkamp is going to be getting its own, personal, 24-hour TV channel.
Seems a bit excessive, people!
The network is an South African network aiming to cash in on the world’s fascination with the murder case involving the Paralympian and his slain girlfriend.
They’re calling it The Oscar Pistorius Trial: A Carte Blanche Channel, which seems a little insensitive to us!
Regardless of our feelings, it’ll be launched on March 2nd, the day before the trial begins. They say it:
“will feature round-the-clock coverage of the legal proceedings, as well as exclusive documentaries, profiles and in-depth expert analysis.”
All of which will have zero effect on what’s happening inside of the courtroom, which will come to its decision even without the channel. This decision was even made before it being known whether or not the judge will even allow a live broadcast!
Oscar is on trial for the brutal shooting of Reeva Steenkamp, 29, on February 14 last year through a locked bathroom door.
He claims he mistook her for an intruder.
