It’s been such a delight to watch this daddy take to parenting SO well!
But he may not be able to be there for his son every single day as he may like to!
Simon Cowell has been SO there for his baby momma Lauren Silverman and his baby boy Eric since the little guy entered the world!
And he’s been sharing lots and lots of pictures, which we’ve been thoroughly enjoying!
But, the X Factor judge may have to get creative if he wants to be there for his son because Lauren’s ex Andrew Silverman has made their divorce agreement super hard to deal with for the new parents!
Andrew was, of course, pretty tight with Simon Cowell until his pal knocked his wife up. Before he agreed to divorce Lauren Silverman though, he hatched out a pretty ridiculous custody settlement with her involving their 8-year-old son Adam, which we’ve covered here.
But, it basically says that Lauren must see her son every other week, but at least for a year Simon can never see Adam! If he does, he’ll face massive fines, and if he does it three times, Lauren may temporarily lose custody of Adam!
…Which makes it hard for Simon. especially since he works on the X Factor from April until June.
So. when he is in New York, which is where Simon and Lauren share an apartment, Simon will have to be somewhere else – like a hotel – whenever Lauren’s son Adam comes over! He may have to schedule an appointment just to see his baby boy!
Otherwise they may have to face Andrew’s lawyers’ wrath!!!
Although, we do hear that Simon’s high priced lawyers are busy at work trying to change the agreement in some shape or form.
We’re sure Simon does feel bad for his former friend for taking his wife away from him, but at some point the former husband Andrew Silverman has got to let bygones be bygones, and let Simon and his new family exist without all these headaches, right??
People don’t hold grudges for this long, right?
