Kid Gets Detention For Calling His Teacher A Communist After She Refuses To Turn On The Team USA Hockey Game

This is kinda wonderful. It makes our heart swell with America pride.
A high school student took a stand against their oppressive teacher.
The young hockey fan just wanted to watch Team USA kick the crap out of their opponents, so they asked their teacher to turn on the game.
When the teacher refused, the student immediately began chanting, “You’re a communist!”
Ha! That’s hilarious! Super disrespectful (unless the teacher actually was a true socialist) but still really funny!
The student’s older sibling got ahold of the detention slip (below) the kid received as a result and wrote:

“My little brother goes to Walpole High School and on Thursday asked to watch the USA vs. Slovakia game during Spanish class. When his teacher said no he called her a communist. She gave him a detention for it. Attached is a picture of the detention slip she gave him.”

Wow, we bet that was totally worth it.
He’s probably the coolest kid in class now.
Disrespecting your teachers is never cool… but xenophobic, jingoistic sentimentalities are!!
USA! USA! USA!
