Yay! He’s employed!
Jason Collins came out in the NBA off-season, but as the regular season drew close, no team signed the center.
Now, Jason has signed a 10-day contract with the Brooklyn Nets! He’s going to be available to play with the Nets against the Los Angeles Lakers in El Lay on Sunday!
Collins isn’t a stranger to the Nets, having spent time on the team over the years, but this time is a little different. He gets to play for his ex-teammate Jason Kidd, who is the Nets’ coach, and former Boston Celtics teammates Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce.
We’re sure they can’t wait to say hi to their old buddy!
If Collins plays well for the Nets, they could eventually sign him for the remainder of the season.
Good luck out there!!!
