Robin Thicke and Paula Patton are no more! They have ceased to be! But why?
We have our guesses (7 of them to be exact), but apparently there were a few problems that spelled out ROBIN THICKE HAS A BIG D trouble in paradise for these two.
Back in 2011, Robin mentioned in an interview that transitioning from a married couple to parents was tough on the couple:
“It was hard when we became parents, because we had to balance our careers with this new person in our lives…[Having a baby] changed everything. It was tough at first. She was stressed. I took time off. I lost my mojo. After a while, we hit our rhythm and we are more in love and supportive than ever.”
Meanwhile a source claims that one of the true reasons for the split was their hectic work lives:
“They’re both at the top of their careers right now and they’re never together. She’s filming in Canada and he’s on tour.”
Work can really be a strain on your relationship, especially when your career involves you grinding up on a 20-year old on TV!
Aside from that, who can forget the ass grab seen ’round the world at a VMA after party! One observer said that Robin was not acting like a married man at the time.
Despite all these reasons for the parting of ways, another source says that the two are still on good terms:
“They do love each other. They’ll continue to be friends.”
We hope they do for the sake of their 3-year old Julian! That kid is the cutest!
