Boston University Womens Basketball Coach Is Accused Of Verbally Abusing Her Players AGAIN! Why Is She Still There?!

Someone over at Boston University needs to take a class in good judgement because WTF?!
Kelly Greenberg is in her tenth year as the head coach of Boston University├óΓé¼Γäós women’s basketball team, but she caused four of her players to leave because they were verbally abused by her!
One of them even considered suicide and another got mental health treatment.
BU is now investigating the coach, but they already did that back in 2008! After hearing from those players, the school told the parents the comments “helped Coach Greenberg appreciate that her style has been difficult, and that she has also made substantive mistakes that she deeply regrets.’’
Well, she’s apparently back to her old ways because these girls were going through it!
One player, Dana Theobald, said:

“I was so grateful to go to such a prestigious and expensive school and be given a full scholarship to play there. I arrived feeling very confident and motivated. Then I felt bullied, threatened, and emotionally abused by the coach. By the time I left, she had demolished me as a person.’’

Another player who left the team, Dionna Joynes, explained:

“Giving up a $60,000-a-year scholarship is the hardest thing I’ve ever done. I hate that I’m not in school, but it had to be done. My spirit was broken… It was very scary. I was blaming everything on myself because of the way I had been treated. I knew deep inside that it wasn’t me, but I was too afraid to say it was [Greenberg] because she didn’t make me feel supported.’’

We are furious even reading about all of this!
Joynes also explained how it went further than regular basketball stuff, saying:

“All the yelling and screaming about basketball was fine. Basketball is a contact sport. We have all played for tough coaches. But I went to BU because I believed [Greenberg] was a great coach, and I was shocked by how it turned out.’’

Since Greenberg is in the last year of her contract extension, and had four players walk away from $60,000 scholarships, it will be surprising if she comes back next year.
Then again, BU already let her keep her job once.
Just an awful situation.
