Another supermodel is looking to get into the biz of having their own biz!
Lily Aldridge has already tried testing the waters, but she’s looking to get more serious in hopes of having her own business.
Clearly the Victoria’s Secret Angel doesn’t think she has enough going on between snagging the cover of Sports Illustrated’s Swimsuit issue, launching a collab with Velvet by Graham and Spencer, and VS promos. LOLz!
Lily revealed to Vogue:
“I├óΓé¼Γäód love to launch my own label. A beauty line would be super fun, but I know that building my own company would be a lot of work. There├óΓé¼Γäós so much that i want to do, but I want to slowly start building my own thing.”
Sounds like Miranda Kerr would be the perfect mentor! After all, she has her own successful beauty line. Though it does sound like Lily has dreams bigger than just beauty!
She even divulged:
“I├óΓé¼Γäóm so inspired by the different careers of so many of the Victoria├óΓé¼Γäós Secret girls. Being there does so much for you, and it does make you want to follow their lead. Gisele, for example, is such an incredible humanitarian and environmentalist, and Heidi Klum has created some amazing brands. It puts you in such an incredible position to further your career. Carolyn Murphy said to me once, ‘This is a job, not a lifestyle. Stay smart, always turn up on time and be thankful.’ I├óΓé¼Γäóve tried to remember that.”
May her VS Angel wings take her far! We’ll just be here waiting patiently to see what Lily’s got up her sleeves.
