L'Wren Scott's Fashion Line Was In Severe Debt & Troubles - Could This Have Contributed To Her Suicide?

While the fashion world grapples with the very sad news of L’Wren Scott‘s death, new details have emerged that may shed a light on why the talented designer may have taken her own life.
According to public financial records, L’Wren’s fashion company, LS Fashion Ltd., was $5.9 million in debt as of December 31, 2012.
The 49-year-old was reportedly unable to pay suppliers and employees, and had canceled her presentation during London Fashion Week just last month, citing that materials for the clothes had failed to arrive.
Although we can never know for sure, it seems that these financial woes may have contributed to the designer’s unfortunate fate.
