And the plot thickens.
To bring you up to speed, Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling made some really racist comments in a recently leaked tape. Well, it turns out the girlfriend he is talking to, V. Stiviano, has been taken to court by Sterling’s WIFE, who says Stiviano embezzled money. This is when the girlfriend allegedly said she would “get even.”
Well, Sterling├óΓé¼Γäós side is saying the tapes have possibly been tampered with, and Stiviano’s legal team says she didnt release them. Attorney Mac E. Nehoray explained:
“My firm represents Ms. V Stiviano who is a named defendant in a civil action brought by Rochelle H. Sterling in the Central Civil Superior Court, County of Los Angeles. This office understands that the currently released audio tape of approximately 15 minutes is a portion of approximately one (1) hour of overall audio recording of Mr. Donald T. Sterling and Ms. Stiviano, and is in fact legitimate. Ms. Stiviano did not release the tape(s) to any news media. Due to the present litigation and its absurd allegations, which Ms. Stiviano vehemently denies, Ms. Stiviano and this office have no comments at this time.”
If we were worth over $1 billion we’d definitely have hi-tech security cameras in our house! Maybe that’s where it came from?
There’s also Sterling’s past history of racism to consider, which has showed up in his legal record.
