NAACP Withdraws Donald Sterling’s Lifetime Achievement Award AND Returns His Donations!

This will be one less trophy to add to his case!
Believe it or not, the Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling was all set to receive a lifetime achievement award from the NAACP on May 15th, but that’s not happening anymore!
After he allegedly made some extremely racist comments, the Los Angeles chapter has removed Sterling’s name from the list of honorees AND they’re returning his donation!
It hasn’t been revealed how much the donation is, but the NAACP called it an “insignificant amount.”
Since he’s a billionaire, we’re curious if it really was insignificant or if symbolically it is since Sterling clearly doesn’t sympathize with what the organization is all about.
The NBA still hasn’t decided what they’re going to do about Sterling’s comments, but at least SOMEONE is taking action!
