Miley Cyrus has gotten an emergency temporary restraining order against a stalking fan of hers who believes that the singer is trying to send him a personal message through her songs!
The stay-away-from-the-singer order was handed out by a judge in Los Angeles this past Friday, and the person who the restraining order is against is a Devon Meek.
Meek, an Arizona resident, was arrested by police on May 16th after they found him outside of a property owned by the pop star. One sworn testimony from a police officer said that the 24-year-old Meek asked the police to shoot him in the head if he wasn’t able to meet Miley.
Wow! Scary!
This isn’t Miley’s first brush with a stalker, but no matter how many you’ve had, it’s usually pretty frightening every time!
As of of now, Devon Meek remains in a psychiatric hospital which is where he was placed after the trespassing incident on May 16th.
The restraining order issued against Devon Meek says the fan has to stay 100 yards away from Miley. We’re sure he’ll be able to handle that especially since he’s locked down at the moment.
Miley has a court hearing scheduled for June 16th to extend the restraining order against Meek.
Hopefully this guy won’t ever bother Miley again — that way she can rest easy!
