Shona Carter-Brooks’s bizarre bridal accessory has gotten her in some hot water after the picture above surfaced online! Many commenters are calling this one of the worst things they’ve ever seen a mother do to her kid!
But despite the backlash, Shona is defending dragging her daughter down the aisle!
She fired back at her critics in a lengthy rant explaining that her baby girl was never in harm’s way because Christ was there to protect her!
Oh boy…
Shona posted on Facebook:
“The answer is we do what we want, when we want, as long as Jesus on our side everything worked out fine and gona continue to be fine.├óΓé¼┬¥
She went on to write:
“Our 1 month old was awake and well secured on my train. Most important while yall got ya feelings in us we had our hearts in Christ which covers all!!├óΓé¼┬¥
If only little Aubrey could speak. Even she would be like, “really, Mom?!? REALLY?!?”
Let’s hope the new Mrs. Brooks stays married for a long time. Because if she walks down the aisle again, there’s no telling where she’ll put her daughter next!
Maybe shoot her out of a cannon or something…
