Everyone has heard about some people of Asian descent getting surgeries to change their faces to look more “western.”
Well this case is the exact opposite!
A 25-year-old white man from Brazil, with blonde hair and blue eyes, named Max, spent a year at Dongseo University in South Korea.
While there, he absolutely fell in love with the culture, loving K-pop music and Korean dramas, so much so that he decided to have surgery to look more Asian!
He said:
“I put my fingers inside the eye and pulled. That was the way I wanted to have my eyes.”
He spent over $3,000 and underwent over ten operations to get his Asian look.
He now goes by Xiahn and wears dark contacts and dyes his hair black.
So, after all of that, what does he think of his new face?
“I guess now yes I’m there, I just need to wait for the swelling [to go down] for the end result.”
So he’s happy with his face and he looks seriously, convincingly Asian.
To the haters, he says:
“Regardless of religion that the person is, whether or not you believe in past lives, you have only this life, you have to be who you want to be.”
That’s definitely a good outlook!
We’re glad he’s happy and his operations went so well!
We also suppose that since he isn’t hurting anyone, and it’s making him happy, that nobody should really have much of a problem with it! It’s his body, his decision!
