She’s outtie!!
We told you yesterday that Madonna was headed to jury duty in Manhattan — but the Material Mom only ended up spending two hours inside the courthouse before she was set free!
WTF, legal eagles!
One may ask why she was dismissed so early?! Especially since most civilians destined for civic duty spend at least a couple of days with the law!
Besides sources revealing that she was a distraction with an entourage, and even showed up late — they let her go because the cases had enough potential jurors!
A spokesperson for the courthouse explained Madge’s situation:
“The greater good here is that her appearance really goes to show that everyone gets called. The intent here was not to create a distraction to other jurors or the business of the court ├óΓé¼┬ª She got credit for her service and we’re delighted she came.”
He does make a point, but we can’t help but wonder if being MADONNA had anything to do with the dismissal!
The 55-year-old is now exempt from jury duty until 2020.
