After many years of being in the number one spot, The View, for the very first time, fell behind The Talk!
Could Sherri Shepard and Jenny McCarthy‘s sudden departure be a factor in the ratings drop?
Maybe the casting controversy was a turnoff for viewers!
According to Nielsen live, the ratings for The Talk skyrocketed during the week of July 6th to the 13th.
The four-year-old talk show was said to have beat The View in the 18-49 and 25-54 demo for women!
This is such a HUGE loss for The View!
It’s possible the veteran talk show could go back to being number one once all the drama has subsided, but we’ll see.
