Father Dies In Front Of Injured Daughter After An Emergency Plane Crash Landing Hits Them On The Beach

This is so so so terrible.
Sgt. Ommy Irizarry and his daughter Oceana were at Caspersen Beach, FL on Sunday when tragedy struck. A 1972 Piper Cherokee aircraft, piloted by Karl Kokomoor needed to have an emergency landing — a landing that accidentally hit the father and critically injured his daughter.
The details aren’t clear, so it’s unknown why the pilot needed to land so suddenly, or why the father-daughter duo couldn’t get out of the way, but we do know that this is a horrible thing to happen!
We can├óΓé¼Γäót get over how upsetting this is. Though, if there is any silver lining, it’s that none of the plane’s passengers were harmed.
UPDATE
Unfortunately, we’ve heard that the daughter has now passed away due to her injuries as well. Hopefully she and her father are together now.
