We LOVE this name! And this news!
Maya Rudolph gave birth to her fourth child almost one year ago on August 1st, 2013, but we were never sure if she had a boy or a girl and what they decided upon for the little one’s name.
But the SNL alum finally filed the little one’s birth certificate and now we have all the information about her and Magnolia director Paul Thomas Anderson‘s child!
It turns out the two have a baby GIRL!!!
And Maya named her daughter after her super talented, iconic, and gone-too-soon mother Minnie Riperton. The official name of her little lady is…
…Minnie Ida Anderson!!!
The parents filed the birth certificate this past Tuesday – just beating the deadline that says parents must enter into the system a child’s birth certificate before their first birthday. Since Maya had a home birth – we guess it was a bit of an inconvenience for these super busy parents to drive to the hospital to enter in their child’s name.
We’re not sure what happens when you don’t file a birth certificate before that deadline but we guess Maya and Paul didn’t even want to find out!
Almost one-year-old Minnie joins her sister siblings Pearl and Lucille and her older bro Jack into this picture perfect family!
They’re ALL so lucky to have each other!!!
