None of this sounds good. At all.
Khloe Kardashian has sporadic eBay sales, and for the last few years, she’s sent the proceeds to Lamar Odom’s charity Cathy’s Kids.
The only problem with that is that Cathy’s Kids has been dormant for YEARS!
ESPN investigated this in 2013, when the NBA free agent began losing control of his life, but it turns out that Khloe never stopped donating to the essentially non-existent charity.
The number listed for the charity goes to accounting firm Boulevard Management, who seemed to know nothing about it. One exec said:
“As far as I know right now, it’s still dormant.”
But now we know how much ca$$$h Khloe was funneling into the organization. In 2012, $11,996 went to the charity, directly from the 30-year-old reality TV star’s eBay auctions. The 2013 numbers aren’t available yet, but it’s known that KoKo’s auctions made $5,342, which according to her eBay store, goes to the charity.
Further, LO’s best man made $72,000 a year from the charity from 2004-2011, even though they claimed losses.
All of this just sounds shady, shady, shady.
It’s known that many celebs give money to charity to use it as a tax write-off, but if that was the case here, then they weren’t very smart about it.
As for where the money has gone, none of it was issued as a grant, and “professional fees and other payments to independent contractors” made up half of the spending from donations.
What’s even more curious is that the accountant in charge of the organization hasn’t commented on the spending.
We’re sure someone will figure out where the money is going because Khloe and Lamar’s fans are very loyal, so they no doubt donated at some point in time!
